Tilted Cap Mushrooms is a family-owned mushroom farm and extraction company based in Eastern North Carolina. What started as a small farmers market venture has grown into a business focused on producing fresh gourmet mushrooms, functional mushroom tinctures, hydroponic produce, and educational resources for customers who care about quality and transparency.
Unlike many mushroom supplement companies, we don't purchase bulk extracts from overseas suppliers or rely on anonymous manufacturing facilities. We grow, extract, bottle, and package our products ourselves right here in North Carolina, allowing us to oversee every step of the process from cultivation to the finished bottle.
Our tinctures are produced using real mushroom fruiting bodies and a traditional dual-extraction process designed to capture both water-soluble compounds, such as beta-glucans, and alcohol-soluble compounds, including triterpenes and other beneficial constituents found naturally in medicinal mushrooms.
Every batch is crafted in small quantities with attention to detail, because we believe quality begins with being directly involved in the process.
Where We Are Today
Today, Tilted Cap Mushrooms operates from our farm in Eastern North Carolina, where we cultivate gourmet and medicinal mushrooms and produce small-batch dual extract tinctures.
Our products can be found at local farmers markets, through our online store, and in the hands of customers who value transparency, quality, and knowing where their products come from.
While we've grown since those early market days, our approach remains unchanged:
